NCS Challenge Campaign

Once again the Admiral Trust has supported the National Citizen Service, NCS, in its Challenge Campaign. This is open to all 15-17 year olds in London and Surrey (it also operates in other areas of the UK) who want to explore the way that businesses work whilst raising money for good causes. Part of the Challenge is to develop a business plan, including budget, marketing, risk assessing etc. for a project that will raise money for local charities. This plan is then pitched to local business “Dragons” who decide whether they should receive the funding applied for. These are serious projects which allow these young people to experience the rigours of business for the first time. For the second year the Admiral Trust was represented on the “Dragon’s” panel by Chairman. Terry Withers.
